Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Events4U regarding your access to and use of our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). Additional terms may apply to specific features (for example, seller or payout programmes); where they conflict, the more specific terms control for that feature only.

If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, and "you" includes the organisation.

Events4U operates an online marketplace that connects buyers with vendors. We provide infrastructure such as accounts, listings discovery, checkout flows where applicable, communications tools, and related features. Unless expressly stated, Events4U is not the seller of goods or services offered by third-party vendors; contractual relationships for purchases are primarily between buyers and vendors, subject to any separate policies we publish.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, including to comply with law or to improve security and reliability. We will aim to give reasonable notice for material changes where practicable.

You must be at least the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction (often 16 in the EEA/UK, or 13 in the United States with parental permission where required) to create an account. You may not use the Services if you are prohibited from receiving products or services under applicable sanctions or export control laws.

You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@events4u.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.

Buyers. You agree to provide truthful information for orders, comply with payment obligations, and use dispute or support channels in good faith. Abuse of chargebacks, promotions, or reviews may result in suspension.

Vendors. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, lawful sale and shipment of products, honouring stated policies, taxes where applicable, and compliance with product safety and consumer laws. You grant us a licence to host, display, and promote your listing content as reasonably necessary to operate the Services.

Reviews and content. You may not post misleading, defamatory, harassing, or illegal content. We may remove content that violates these Terms or our policies, or that we reasonably believe is harmful to the community.

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law, including fraud, intellectual property infringement, privacy, or consumer protection laws.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, servers, or networks; probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorisation; or circumvent security or access controls.
• Use automated means (scraping, harvesting, bulk account creation) in violation of our technical policies or robots rules where published.
• Transmit malware, spam, or deceptive links; impersonate others; or collect personal data from users without a lawful basis and transparency.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Services without our written consent.

Certain features may be subject to fees, commissions, or subscription pricing as disclosed at checkout or in vendor agreements. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your use of the Services or your sales, as applicable. Payment processing may be provided by third-party processors; their terms and privacy notices may also apply.

If we facilitate refunds or chargebacks in line with our policies, outcomes may depend on payment networks, banks, and vendor cooperation.

Events4U and its licensors own all rights in the Services, branding, software, and documentation, except for content you upload ("Your Content"). You retain ownership of Your Content; you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute Your Content to operate, improve, and promote the Services, including machine-assisted moderation and formatting where permitted by law.

Subject to these Terms and our policies, we may respond to notices of alleged infringement consistent with applicable law (such as notice and takedown procedures).

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party websites, payment providers, analytics, or logistics partners. We do not control third parties; their terms and privacy practices govern your interactions with them. Your dealings with vendors are principally between you and the vendor, except where we explicitly undertake obligations (for example, as stated at checkout).

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Events4U and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Events4U for the Services in that period (excluding amounts passed through to vendors or payment processors), or (b) one hundred euros (€100), except where prohibited by law.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Events4U and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to Your Content, your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, pose a security risk, or must comply with law. You may close your account at any time through available account settings or by contacting support. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution) will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Events4U operates its business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us in good faith to try to resolve the dispute. If we cannot resolve a dispute within sixty (60) days, either party may bring legal proceedings in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law grants you a non-waivable right to bring claims in your home courts.

If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you may also have the right to use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform or a local alternative dispute resolution body where available.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Where changes are material and we have your contact details, we may also notify you by email or in-product notice. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where your express consent is required by law.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Events4U regarding the subject matter here and supersede prior understandings. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
